Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS)
StefNov offers up to nine complete exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) to facilitate installation of any construction site, either new construction or for existing buildings. The difference among Stef’s EIFS systems are by the use of the building, the type of site, the non-combustible properties and the type of substrate.
Stef has all the necessary materials for each of the systems.
Since 1989, Les enduits Stef inc has been designing and manufacturing building systems for all kinds of substrates, which is one of the fastest low-cost solutions on the market for the construction and protection of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

Exterior insulation systems with finishing coating (SIFE)
The exterior insulation systems with finishing coating (SIFE) from Stef are cdesigned for energy-saving construction time and energy; these wall systems appeared on the market in the 1960s, long before the first regulations on thermal insulation and even the first public debate on green building. Since then, Les enduits Stef has innovated the idea by raising the bar in terms of technical superiority, quality, reliability and ease of installation. StevNov SIFE solutions have set benchmarks and changed the industry then and forever.
Stef’s high performance wall cladding systems include air and water barrier properties, the drainage elements and continuous insulation your residential, commercial or industrial jobsites need to be code compliant, energy efficient and sustainable .
Installation of Stef systems in 4 simple steps
Step 1 : Preparation Make sure that the substrate (wood, gypsum or cement panel) is properly installed on the building structure, in accordance with Stef’s quality standards. |
|
Step 2 : Insulation Expanded polystyrene insulation panels are installed using mechanical anchors and base adhesive. The thickness of the panel will vary according to the thermal needs of the building. |
|
Step 3 : Reinforcement A fiberglass mesh reinforcement is glued using Stef base adhesive to the surface of the insulation panels. The goal is to increase the strength and resistance of the system to impact. |
|
ÉStep 4: Finishing The Stef finishing coat is applied to the surface using a trowel. This grout will give your building a unique style and cachet. |
